In the last few years I’ve rediscovered my love of crafts and creativity. Photography is the best way for me to express my creative self.
On January 1 2008, I decided, on a whim, to undertake a 365 photo project. That project can be found on this blog. The discipline of making a new image everyday for a year was certainly a challenge. It stretched my creativity, developed my camera skills and most importantly made me see differently.
With a newly found confidence and love for photography I joined the Brighton and Hove Camera Club. With help and advice from the Club’s very helpful and talented members, I gained my Licentiateship from the Royal Photographic Society in July 2011.
I’m at my most creative when I have a project to work on. In January 2014, I started 52 postcards. Each week I will make a new image and print it as a 6×4 postcard. The postcard is then sent through the post to someone. As with my 365 project, 52 postcards will be documented here.

Your pictures are beautiful! I tried that 365 photo project, but school kinda got in the way. Ha – I even tried learning how to knit; I think I’ll just stick with crocheting for now. Keep it up 🙂

Love your photographs and it seems our interests are the same. I am envious that your weather is just a bit ahead of ours. I am still waiting for spring to arrive and the buds to bloom.
