I was browsing through the picture folder of my computer this evening, when I came across this image.

From Eigg to Rùm

It was made last May while on a photography workshop on the west coast of Scotland. Initially being surrounded by stunning scenery was quite overwhelming. There could have been a temptation to ‘snap away’ at every view. However, at times I found myself creativity frozen by the opportunities; not being able to see any potential. What I learnt during that week was to slow down, enjoy the moment and look. If an image presented itself, great; if it didn’t that was OK too. I need to remind myself of this every now and again.
