All ears

Photo opportunities were very limited today as I was out on a site visit on the Kent coast at Dungeness. Dungeness is one of my favourite places for photography; sadly today a force 9 gale and driving rain meant this was all I could muster.

These odd looking structures are listening ears (or acoustic mirrors) built in the late 1920s. They were a precursor to radar.
